Humanities Action Day!!!
APRIL 23, 11-2 on the Quad
Ways to get involved
1. THE EASIEST THING: Come hang out, eat food, make a zine, play cornhole, work a jigsaw puzzle, get a button, celebrate the humanities … and pet a dog.
2. THE ALMOST EASIEST THING: Donate books and jigsaw puzzles as giveaways for the event. You can drop them off in OLD MAIN 321 (Religious Studies suite) or Ray B. West 313 (Phebe’s office) on weekdays until April 22nd. You can also just bring them to
the event. These should be popular fiction and nonfiction.
3. SLIGHTLY MORE INVOLVED: buy a t-shirt to support this event and the humanities: bit.ly/HumanitiesLove?
4. CONTRIBUTE FOOD: Bring pizza, chips, popcorn, chocolate, brownies, bars, cookies to share!
5. JOIN THE MARATHON READING of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” (1963)
6. SPREAD THE WORD to friends, colleagues, and students.
Bonus Action: Humanities Happy Hour at Cache Bar from 5-7 PM.
