The bill also slashes 1 trillion dollars from our health care and food. Many hospital will be forced to close, many people will suffer and die, mostly children and the sickest and oldest in our country will be tossed off their health care or be denied vital services, and little money will be saved.

How can we say this? This has been tried before and it failed. See Georgia and Arkansas. The upshot: no money is saved but people suffer and die.

"Work requirements" are a dishonest and disguised way to cut care. "Sending it back to states" is a way to cut care. "Saving the money for the really sick" is a way to cut your care and hurt the entire community. This bill shows very clearly that the GOP does not care about ordinary people or its voters.
