Manufactured Immigration "crisis" in USA is largely due to Trump and MAGA using cruelty for political gain
00:00 – The myth about immigrants 01:00 – Our historical dependence on migrant labor 06:32 – Legislative failures and political manipulation of immigration reform 09:11 – The rise of detention centers and the dehumanization of migrants 11:25 – The lasting danger of building systems of oppression
Some highlights:
At least 13-14 detainees/kidnapped persons have died in ICE or Border patrol custody in the last reporting period. That is a large jump up from Biden administration. Roughly doubling.
Torture is documented too. Conditions in detention are so inhumane that some immigrants chose to leave USA rather than risk their health and wellbeing insisting on their right for a hearing, lawyer and more
Utah has seen increases in arrests of innocent people too.
